Y6 into Y7 Transition Programme
Our Y6 into Y7 Transition further prepares pupils for commencing secondary school through our resource packs and/or virtual workshops. All resources and links to live events are shared after SATS.
These packs are tailored individual secondary schools, following Kozzy the alien as they prepare to adapt and settle into a new environment. Pupils receive individual packs to complete activities within households in their own time to get Year 7 ready.
Pupils are invited to attend our virtual workshops covering numeracy, reading, writing and transition. All content complements the Y7 curriculum and is a gentle introduction to new and unfamiliar concepts whilst highlighting similarities with primary school learning. All live events are recorded and can be watched on demand is unable to attend live.
Bookings are accepted on a school basis and we prioritise schools who are feeders for our partner secondary schools.
