Virtual Summer School

Hello and welcome to the University of Surrey Virtual Summer School! Here you will find information to help you prepare for the summer school and answer questions you may have. Over the five days you will take part in:
- A mix pre-recorded and interactive taster lectures from our academics,
- Live project time with your research group,
- Information and guidance sessions from the Outreach Team,
- Fun wellbeing and social activities!
Your timetable consists of on-demand and live content.
All live content is scheduled during the late afternoon/early evening to limit clashes with your school/college timetable. These sessions will be recorded and uploaded to the SurreyLearn platform throughout the week, for students to watch if they are unable to attend live. You will be granted access to the SurreyLearn platform for a period after the end of the Summer School, so that you can make use of all the resources and session content across all subject strands.
The research project will be completed across the week, with the support of our subject-specific Student Ambassadors. Students will present the project on the last day of the programme (Friday), with feedback from Student Ambassadors and staff.

All live sessions will be hosted on Microsoft Teams. Additional information and login details will be shared in early July.
