Y12 Health Sciences Non-Residential Summer School

Are you in Year 12 or equivalent? Are you considering a career in Health Sciences? If yes to both then this event is for you!

This fully funded opportunity invites participants to take part in a two day non-residential summer school introducing and showcasing Health Sciences at the University of Surrey. The timetable will feature practical workshops in:

Across the two days, you will meet our academics, teaching staff and current students who will be on hand throughout to support your learning and answer your questions about career pathways, university study, and the student experience.


This subject-taster takes place on Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 July from 10:00 to 16:00 on each date. This is a two day event and participants will need to be able to attend both dates to complete the non-residential summer school.

This event is open to students in Y12 (or equivalent) who are interested in studying Health Sciences at university. We have capacity for 30 participants.

Eligible participants can receive a travel bursary to reimburse transport costs across the two dates. You can read more about our travel bursary and eligibility criteria here.
