Hello and welcome to AIM4University!

University of Surrey invites you to take part on a sustained programme providing advice, information and mentoring in support of your UCAS application.

This programme can be accessed in four ways via online mentoring, live webinars and events, access to pre-recorded content, and exclusive campus visits.

How does it work?

This online portal is for you to visit all virtual content such as videos, lessons, resources and zoom links. For more information on how to use this portal have a look at this handy step by step guide here.

Weekly videos will be uploaded after the webinars for you to explore videos and resources in your own time. All content is divided into modules which can be seen at the bottom of the page. These modules include:

Week 1 | 27th September – Introduction to Brightside
Week 2 | 4th October – Open Days, UCAS and Personal Statements
Week 3 | 11th October – Student Finance
Week 4 | 18th October – Student Life
Week 5 | 25th October – Campus Visit
Week 5 | 28th October – Campus Visit

Meet the Mentors

Check out our mentor’s intro videos below to learn a bit about them, before making your final mentor choice on Brightside once the programme launches. Our mentors are current university students and will be able to share their experience and knowledge with you. You will receive an email from Brightside Mentoring on Monday 23rd September to activate your Brightside account and to choose a mentor. You will then be able to contact your mentor at Brightside Mentoring.
